Beard's Away

Greetings and a warm hello to the kind hearted people. Nick's Beard here, just doubling back to report on yesterday's adventure. Yesterday we found ourselves waking up with a lil extra pep in our step from soaking up the new orleans groove of the Dirty Dozen, we headed south from Philly to Ardmore. Rolling into town this beard was hungry, we found a place to let the van take a nap after the journey, some of us found ourselves at a wonderful restaurant called FIRINJI.

If you are every in Ardmore PA please go check out Firinji. www.firinji.com
Budo, Evren, and Lila and the rest of the staff were so welcoming, so kind, so generous. They were big fans and Budo made a special vegetarian feast. It was so good and large that it doubled for my lunch and dinner. Thank you thank you thank you.

with full bellies and a couple of interviews later we headed over to the Ardmore Music Hall to load our gear in for the show.

Sami Hope started the night off for us warming the stage up with her original music, her comforting voice was supported by her fingers dancing  between guitar and banjo. You can go  to www.samihope.com to check her out for yourself.

With the intimate room I wanted to give the people of Ardmore and neighboring areas something personal. It felt like a living room vibe, so's thats how we treated it. The room was warm and with the tables full and people's attention on the bandstand,  we proceeded to paint the walls with HEART.

Truly it is a privilege and honor to bring music from the heart and for the heart to the people.
Thank you Ardmore, thanks for your support, thanks for sharing your time and thanks for sharing all of your stories. They warm my heart and become strength for this amazing journey.
Peace and many many thanks.

  8. I was there that night in Ardmore (and am the blonde in that crowd picture!) and what an absolutely incredible show it was. Thank you again Nicholas for one of the best concerts I've EVER been to! My mom and I have been listening to all of your music every day since that night. Can't wait to see you again next time you tour the east coast!!
