Hello and Welcome

Hello and welcome to A Beard's Eye View,
it is my attempt to bring a deeper glimpse of my life to you, from my beard's point of view. My name is Nicholas David and I play music for the heart from the heart. I believe music is medicine and is distributed as one of the universal
languages, that the humans filter through their heart or mind or both.Filled with an appreciation for EVERYTHING, I try and include EVERYTHING, then no one gets left out. Everyone has a place at the table.

I have been blessed to take my songs to the people. I wake up and put on my dreams every morning. Dreams of taking the medicine of music to the hearts of the people. To make hope. To make memories. To CELEBRATE life.
To paint the walls of the places we play with passion. Passion for life. Passion for the expression and depth of the human spirit.

Currently, we are on our first east coast tour. We left the great state of Minnesota in what was known as the Polar Vortex of 2014! It was -55 with the windchill. Now Minnesota get's cold, but  that was really something. We rode the storm eastward and eventually landed in the city of Brotherly Love, Philly! We got to open for The Dirty Dozen Brass Band from the "country " of New Orleans, it's a little south of Louisiana. This dream come true happened at the World Cafe Live. What a cool venue, multiple stages, a radio station, great food with good vegetarian options. What a night. What a treat. Thank you for all the LOVE Philly.

Next stop is the Ardmore Music Hall in Ardmore PA!
Sami Hope will start the night's music off at 8pm EST.
peace and many thanks

  3. Keep up your wonderful work! The first time you sang on The Voice, like the coaches, my back was turned, as I was working on my computer. I turned my chair for you and said to my husband, "that's the first singer on here who's music I'd pay for". I have a dozen of your tracks from that season and still enjoy them. You're fabulous!
